Protection of Cultural Heritage in Uzbekistan: Practice and Experience

Abstract

This article deals with the issues of museumification of archeological monuments in Uzbekistan on a scientific basis. In particular, in recent years, research on the study, classification, restoration and conservation of unique monuments has been reflected. At the same time, different approaches and criteria for the museumification of archeological monuments, such as the historical significance of the monument, the degree of preservation and artistic value, are discussed separately. As a result of the research, the work on the museumification, conservation and restoration, preservation and documentation of archeological monuments was discussed.
