Media-Competent Approaches to the Development of an Individual's Information Culture

Abstract
This article has studied the experience of the United States of America (USA), Canada, Australia, France and Finland, the leading countries in this field, in order to determine the current priorities of the mediacompetent approach in the development of information culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Their positive experience was analyzed and comments were made on the measures envisaged for the development of regulatory, organizational, technical, moral and educational activities of the media and the information sector of Uzbekistan, as well as the introduction of media education in the field of education
