Comparison of Resonant Frequency for Several Designs of SRR

Abstract

The area of this paper is to design and simulate the new structures having simultaneous negative permeability ϵeff and permittivity μeff, and index of refraction neff around (8- 12) GHz, the so-called left handed material LHM. All designs have the same dimensions. The parameters of SRR have been varied such as split width, gap width, and metal width. Also, the negative values of ϵeff, μeff, and neff have been approved.
